The VLS002 electrophotometer is reliable and easy to use. It features a large screen graphic LCD that is easy to read and gives quick accurrate readings in Absorbance, Transmittance, Factor, and Concentration. Each option can easily be selected by using the Mode button located on the control panel. Automatic zeroing, one-touch blanking, and built in automatic filters are included for easy operation. Halogen lamp is used as a light source. High quality silicon photodiode detector provides high performance, while built in secondary filters automatically adjust as the wavelength is set.

Wavelength range is 335-1000nm, spectral bandwidth is 10nm, and single beam grating is 1200 lines/mm. The sample compartment is designed to accept both ½” (13mm) round tubes and 10mm square cuvettes (an adaptor is supplied at no additional charge for 10mm square optical glass cuvettes). USB port is included to interface with Windows-based computers.

Optional software packages are also available for further processing and analyses of data collected.

The spectrophotometer comes with 12 round optical glass cuvettes, a square cuvette adapter, dust cover, and user manual.
