Description
The Astromania 2″ Parfocal Telescope Eyepiece Rings are a set of metal rings that are used to hold eyepieces securely in place while in use with a telescope. The rings have a diameter of 2 inches, which is the standard size for most telescope eyepieces.
Get rid of the wish to make focal point adjustments when changing telescope eyepieces. These eyepiece rings are designed to be parfocal, which means that the focus of the telescope will not need to be readjusted when switching between different eyepieces. This is a useful feature for astronomers who frequently change eyepieces during an observing session.
The rings are made of metal and are designed to be durable and long-lasting. They’re manufactured from precision machined aluminium with black anodizing. They have a set screw that can be tightened to secure the eyepiece in place, and a knurled edge for easy gripping.
These eyepiece rings also have a locking ring that keeps the eyepiece in place, preventing it from slipping out of the ring while in use. This makes it easy to change eyepieces without having to readjust the focus each time. With parfocal ring equipped telescope eyepieces you’ll be able to change magnifications quickly and simply.
This set of 2 Astromania Parfocal Rings means that you can make a collection of non-parfocal 2″ telescope eyepieces parfocal for more efficient observing.
Also helpful for setting focal point point of calibration eyepiece used for focusing an imaging or guide camera.
The Astromania 2″ Parfocal Telescope Eyepiece Rings are compatible with any telescope that has a 2″ focuser and are a great accessory for any telescope enthusiast.
