Celestron – NexStar 130SLT Computerized Telescope – Compact and Portable – Newtonian Reflector Optical Design – SkyAlign Technology – Computerized Hand Control – 130mm Aperture

Description

Celestron NexStar 130SLT: telescope details

The Celestron NexStar 130SLT combines a 130 mm Newtonian reflector with a computerized altazimuth mount. Its 650 mm focal length gives an f/5 focal ratio. The adjustable steel tripod and optical tube assemble without tools.

The NexStar+ hand controller provides access to 40,000 celestial objects. SkyAlign uses three bright objects to align the telescope; the mount can then locate and track selected targets. This is a telescope hand controller, not a screen that displays a magnified camera image.

The standard package includes 25 mm and 9 mm eyepieces and a StarPointer finder. Check the seller’s listing for the supplied accessories, power requirements and warranty terms.
