Description

The Mahr Federal 4429010 817 CLM 2D Height Gauge has a measurement range of 0 to 350mm, with selectable resolution, a backlit LCD, and motorized measuring carriage. This electronic height measuring instrument has selectable resolution of 0.01mm, 0.005mm, 0.001mm, 0.0005mm, 0.0001mm, 0.001″, 0.0005″, 0.0001″, 0.00005″, or 0.00001″. The backlit LCD digital readout displays sharp figures for viewing ease. A motorized measuring carriage with air bearings provides smooth, even travel on stainless-steel guideways. The spherical probe measures in one or two dimensions. The unit stores up to 40 programmable measuring procedures for automated measurement. The gauge’s electronic microprocessor provides the ability to set additional zero points on a work piece. It is powered by an integrated rechargeable battery with up to 10 hours of battery life. The unit has RS-232 and USB ports for connecting to a computer or printer (sold separately), as well as a wireless interface. It comes with a probe carrier, probe, setting block, power adapter, USB cable, protective cover, calibration certificate, and instructions. Height gauges are commonly used to perform precision height, shaft, groove, and bore measurements, among others, in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering.
